About us…

Lexis Marching Arts, Inc is a non-profit organization based in Lexington, KY, created to provide performance opportunities in the pageantry arts genre for local and regional performers. Lexis was founded in the fall of 2009, under the name Lexis Winter Guard, Inc, and fielded our first ensemble in the 2011 competition season. In 2015 Lexis regrouped under the name Lexis Marching Arts, Inc. to become an umbrella organization in order to broaden our outreach through a diversified set of programming in the future.

Lexis ensembles compete locally in the TriState Marching Arts Circuit and nationally in Winter Guard International. Lexis has fielded an Independent Winter Guard every year since 2011 except for 2015, when the organization went inactive in order to regroup. We are proud to have seen the winter guard program grow from an A Class guard, which was promoted into Open Class in 2013 and then twice into World Class in 2015 and 2016
